Policies

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 hour advance notice is required when you cancel an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you may be charged half the amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

It is best to plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to your appointment so we can get started on time and you get your full appointment time you paid for.

No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forget their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” The therapist will have the choice to charge you for the “missed” appointment, for half the amount of your scheduled appointment. If a no-show occurs and a reason is provided due to sudden illness or emergency, you will not be charged or penalized.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late (15 minutes after your scheduled time), your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Minors

SHMT, LLC works with all ages. A parent or legal guardian must sign the intake/health release form. If under the age of 16, that parent or legal guardian must remain in the room during treatment.

Packages

Packages are non- transferable from person to person. It cannot be combined with more then one person or other offers. Packages are also non-refundable, they have no expiration.

Inappropriate Behavior

Massage services will be terminated immediately if a client makes any sexual advances, comments, remarks, gestures or requests. If conduct is questionable or the therapist feels uncomfortable in a situation, they have the right to terminate the session, same goes for the client. Massage therapy is therapeutic in nature, conversations and comments had are for the sole purpose of healing and done in a professional manner.

We look forward to serving you!
